_COMPATIBLE REQUIREMENTS:_ Selected candidates will be required to be a member of the Montana Army National Guard and in a compatible military grade prior to the effective date of placement. _SUMMARY OF DUTIES:_ If applicants' desire, a copy of the Position Description (PD) can be obtained from the HRO. A brief statement of duties from PD No. ___D0895000__ __.__ This position is located in the Material Management Branch, Supply and Service Division,USP&FO.; The incumbent will function as the technical expert in various supply areas such asrations, ammunition, petroleum/oils/lubricants (POL), medical, and other general categories ofmaterials management. The purpose of this position is to manage supply related activitiesincluding support of inventory control, storage, distribution, cataloging, supply identificationsystems, property utilization and other related supply activities using standard Army ManagementInformation Systems (STAMIS).
BASIC ELIGIBILITY FACTORS: Document prior experience, education, and training relating to the General and Specialized Experience requirements. KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY (KSAs) are no longer basic eligibility factors, but will be used as rating and ranking factors.
KSAs for SUPPLY TECHNICIAN, GS-2005-07, D0895
1. Knowledge of the Army Supply System.
2. Skill in planning, scheduling, and organizing.
3. Skill in the use of computer software and internet programs.
4. Skill in maintaining records, files, and reports.
5. Skill in researching, maintaining, and editing documents.
6. Skill in customer support relations.
7. Knowledge of warehousing procedures.

Experience:
Applicant must possess the experience, education or training:
Demonstrating knowledge of operations or situations concerned with substance or content of supply actions requiring ability to decide course of action to take, considering the circumstances or conditions encountered;
Experiencing using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Applicant must possess 12 months of specialized experience,education or training:
Governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to the specific assignment;
Conducting extensive searches for required information;
Reconstructing records for complex supply transactions and/or provide supply operations support for activities involving specialized or unique supplies, equipment, or parts; AND
Performing routine aspects of supply work based on practical knowledge of standard procedures, where assignments include individual case problems related to a limited segment in one of the major areas of supply management.
